Disable Game Center daemon on OS X

In case Game Center daemon is running unnecessarily on your system, you can disable it.

Disabling the daemon

  1. Open Terminal
  2. Type in 
    launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.gamed.plist
  3. Done!
